Developing the Community Principles on Ethical Data Sharing

At D4GX in New York this past September, Bloomberg announced an exciting collaboration with Data for Democracy and BrightHive, Inc. to take a community-driven approach to developing a code of ethics for data scientists. The Community Principles on Ethical Data Sharing (CPEDS) initiative will bring together anyone interested in the responsible use of data, with the goal of defining a set of principles to address some of the data science community's greatest challenges related to responsible data sharing.

As influencers and thought leaders on data science, we'd like to invite you to join the conversation as we present the current draft of the CPEDS code of ethics at Bloomberg's inaugural Data for Good Exchange event in San Francisco.

We hope you can join us.
